Joey Pospisil

Q.  How many years have you gone to UVC?
A.  This will be my 3rd year.

Q.  How would you describe the people of UVC in one word?

A.  I'm going to go with the meme category on this one and say, "Big chungus, big chungus."

Q.  What type of music are you into?
A.  It differs.  I would say mostly 90s boy bands like NSYNC and Back Street Boys.

Q.  Who is your celebrity crush and why?
A.  My celebrity crush is definitely JoJo Siwa, hands down.

Emelie Morello

Q.  What's your favorite sport to play (or watch) and why?

Student & Teacher Interviews - Pt 1

Welcome to the UVC Student Life Center where we show you everything that's going on here at UVC!  A lot has changed in 2019, so we decided to talk to the students and teachers to find out how they feel.

Hunter Elam

Q.  What’s your favorite class and why?
A.  Bible - good teacher, and Science - teacher wants to help students learn.

Q.  Do you participate in any after-school activities? If so, what?
A.  Basketball, I really enjoy the sport.

Q.  What is your overall opinion of the students?
A: Some of them are caring.

Joe Buechley

Q.  What things do you like about UVC?
A: Good sports program, good electives, and good teachers (for the most part).

Q.  Do you feel like the teachers care about their students?
A.  For the most part, yes.

Q.  Do you plan on coming to UVC in the future?  Why or why not?
A.  Yes.  Small school atmosphere is better than public school.

Jeffrey Kramer

Q.  What things do you wish you could change about UVC?
A.  Small school environment.  The people in your class are automatically your friends, you don’t get to choose your friends.

Q.  Do you think you are challenged enough in school?
A: Yes, but some classes are too easy.

Q.  What’s your overall favorite part about UVC?
A.  The sports program.

Joe Clyde

Q.  What is your overall opinion of the students?
A.  All of them are nice.  I like how high school hangs out with Jr. high.

Q.  Are there any rules you would like to change?
A.  Being able to listen to music on phones during breaks and lunch.

Q.  Do you want to come to UVC in the future?  Why or why not?
A.  Yes, because I've made a lot of friends.

Lana

Q.  What’s your favorite thing about UVC?
A.  I love the playground because I can do gymnastics on it.  I also think we should get a longer recess.

Q.  What’s your favorite food they serve at UVC?
A.  Spaghetti.

Q.  What food do you wish they would serve here?
A.  Chinese food.

Mrs. Burmoth

Q.  If there is anything you can change about school, what would it be?
A.  I would make the campus bigger so the elementary side could have their own gym.

Q.  What’s  your favorite thing about UVC?
A.  I love working with the staff, the kids, the families, and I love the fact that I could be a Christian.

Tiffany Smith

Q.  What  do you think  about kids having to get permission to go to the store after hours?
A.  I think it makes sense for safety reasons, but I also think that after school hours teachers shouldn’t really have to babysit the students.
