Katie Cripps

Mrs.Cripps began teaching at Umpqua Valley Christian School in 2021. She enjoys teaching her students God’s Word and seeing their growth throughout the course of the year. She attended Douglas High School and then went to Umpqua Community College. Before working at UVC, she worked at Little Wellspring Preschool for eight years.

Mrs.Cripps has three brothers and three sisters. She is married to her husband, Ryan, and they have two children who both attend UVC, Eliana and Jack. They attend Family Church South Umpqua and love to have movie nights and take their dog on walks around the park or at the river. Mrs.Cripps has also travelled to Haiti and would love to go back someday. A favorite memory is traveling to Hawaii with her family then again on her honeymoon. Something people may not know about her is that she loves to belt out Broadway show tunes when she’s alone in her car! She also loves reading, crafting, and being in nature with family and friends.
