SECONDARY CHAPEL

Each week, our students from 6th grade to 12th grade gather together for a time of worship and teaching. We are so thankful for these treasured times together in worship and in the Word. 

Below is an example of a summary of what was taught that gets sent out in our weekly Monarch Message:

Two Distinct Covenants: Law and Grace
Change does not happen between the Old and New Testaments, but rather the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ along with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in the Saints.
God's People:
Include those who have turned from sin, believed in Jesus as Lord, and have the Holy Spirit
2 Corinthians 8:6  
    *We must be ministers of the new covenant
         We are able to be because of the Holy Spirit
2 Corinthians 8:7-11
   * The law condemns, God's grace saves
         The law must still be upheld, but serves a different purpose
    *The "glories" differ
         Glory in upholding the law
         Glory in being saved
2 Corinthians 3:12-18
   * When following the law alone, our face is veiled from the grace of God- because faith in the law is dead
   * When following grace and the law, we are able to see clearly
         The source of reality is the spirit of God
