Winter

I'm a Christian, husband to my wife Lacey, father to three boys, coach and a rancher in our local community. I'm an alumni of Umpqua Valley Christian, and I've been a coach at the school since 2008-2009 when I became an assistant coach for the baseball program. I am now entering my fifth season as the head basketball coach at UVC, and I continue to serve as an assistant coach for baseball. My wife and myself view coaching as a great ministry opportunity, and without my family and my assistant coaches, this ministry would not be possible.

Coach Tornell is in his 19th season of coaching basketball.  He has coached girls for 16 of those years. He is excited to bring growth in Jesus to the court every day. He has a strong coaching staff and is passionate about the game and growing strong character in our youth.
